In a strong show of support for the DFL convention winner, DFL gubernatorial candidate Margaret Anderson Kelliher will get a boost from former rivals and Minnesota's congressional delegation Monday in Bloomington.

U.S. Sen. Al Franken, Reps. Tim Walz, Betty McCollum and Keith Ellison will join Kelliher along with former candidates for governor Minneapolis Mayor R.T. Rybak, state Sen. John Marty and state Rep. Paul Thissen at the start of a "DFL Unity" tour in Bloomington. Rybak, Marty and Thissen all dropped out of the race Saturday when it was clear they would not get party endorsement.

Kelliher will move on with DFL officials and constitutional officers to stops across the state -- and a competitive primary in August. She will face former U.S. Sen. Mark Dayton, former Minnesota House Minority Leader Matt Entenza and Ramsey County Attorney Susan Gaertner for the nomination.
