Minnesota Republicans are ramping up their protest of health care overhaul.
Republican Gov. Tim Pawlenty asked state Attorney General Lori Swanson to review the measure; U.S. Rep. Michele Bachmann introduced legislation "to repeal the Democrats' government takeover of health care " and Tuesday all 68 Minnesota Republican lawmakers will ask the attorney general to "prepare a lawsuit" in response to the health care bill.
The chances of repeal may be slim and the possibility of a lawsuit prepared by the Democratic attorney general (herself up for re-election this fall) might be remote, but it is at least a bit remarkable that the entire Minnesota House and Senate caucus agreed on the move.
