Starting left guard Alex Boone returned to practice this afternoon.

Boone was knocked out of last week's win over the Panthers with a hip injury and he did not practice Thursday. On Friday, Boone put in a limited participation during practice, a good sign for his availability for Monday night's game against the Giants at U.S. Bank Stadium.

Fullback Zach Line, who missed Thursday's practice due to a knee injury, was also limited in his return to practice.

Receiver Stefon Diggs (groin) was added to the injury report on a limited practice. Diggs was held out of last Friday's practice with the same injury, but still played Sunday in Carolina.

Tight end David Morgan sat out his second straight practice due to a knee injury, as did defensive tackle Sharrif Floyd, who had knee surgery last week and is expected to be out until after the team's Week 6 bye.

Linebacker Anthony Barr (wrist), cornerback Xavier Rhodes (knee), running back Jerick McKinnon (toe) and tight end MyCole Pruitt (knee) were full participants in Friday's practice.

For the Giants: Four defensive backs did not practice again in CB Eli Apple (hamstring), CB Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie (groin), S Darian Thompson (foot) and S Nat Berhe (concussion). T Marshall Newhouse (calf) and DT Robert Thomas (illness) also did not practice. RB Rashad Jennings (thumb) was limited. DE Olivier Vernon (wrist) was a full participant.
