Adventure Advertising has added a new partner to its marketing agency.

The Minneapolis firm announced that Mike Fetrow has joined the company as executive creative director and equity partner. Fetrow has more than 20 years of experience in the ad business most recently coming from Fetrow Ryan & Partners, which he co-founded last year.

Fetrow had worked on campaigns for Cadillac and Buffalo Wild Wings among others and held leadership positions at several large creative agencies in town such as Olson, Colle+McVoy, and Fallon.

"Today, there are so many new ways to connect and engage with people to help build and activate brands," Fetrow said, in a statement. "I couldn't be more excited to be a part of Adventure Advertising. Their passion, approach and unique talent set allow them to take advantage of today's opportunities unlike any other agency that I've seen."

As executive creative director, Fetrow will lead Adventure's creative direction.

Earlier this month, Adventure's creative strategist Gina Nacey was made a partner as well and promoted to president. As part of the recent changes, founder Scott Mitchell has assumed the role of chief executive officer.

Adventure's clients have included the Minnesota Zoo, UnitedHealthcare Children's Foundation and Hatteras Yachts.
