As if there's not enough hype and excitement around Thursday's über-sold-out Adele concert at First Avenue, the British starlet has re-landed atop both the Billboard singles and albums charts this week. Her song "Rolling in the Deep" is No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart for the second straight week, while her album "21" is spending its eighth week at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. We're pretty sure that's the first time anyone has ever climbed on stage at Minneapolis' landmark club while sitting atop both charts. Prince has obviously played there since landing No. 1's in both places, but we don't think he has been there while accomplishing the two-fer.

Anyway, Adele is unquestionably hot, as are tickets to the show. The "resale" (scalper) tickets start at $384 at Stubhub. Anyone thinking of spending that kind of money should know that she will be back soon, probably by the end of the year. And it's looking like it's going to be an arena tour at this rate.

Another cool little footnote to tomorrow's concert: Adele is requiring anyone and everyone who is attending the show via the typically free industry guestlist spot (i.e., radio and record biz people and, yes, critics) to pay $20, which will be donated to a charity of her choice. She should've made it $40.
