TODAY'S VIKINGS SCHEDULE

Vikings players have the day off, but as usual, many will be out doing good things in the community. K Blair Walsh and FB Zach Line will be packing food for hungry Minnesotans in an event organized by the Vikings, Second Harvest Heartland and United Healthcare. DE Brian Robison will be buying Christmas gifts for kids in need. And more players will be at a couple other Vikings-related events.

SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT

Since RB Jerick McKinnon took over as the starter in Week 6, Matt Asiata has rushed for just 154 yards on 56 carries — an average of 2.75 yards per pop. He had just 106 yards on 33 carries the past two weeks, with McKinnon out. So yeah, maybe it's time to give Tate and Banyard more carries.
