Tickets for the August 3 soccer game between AC Milan and Chelsea, the first event to be held at U.S. Bank Stadium, go on sale at 10 a.m. this morning. The match is part of the International Champions Cup competition, in which top teams from around the world will play throughout North America, China and Australia.

Both teams are traditional powers in their country's top leagues: AC Milan in sixth this season Italy's Serie A and Chelsea in the English Premier League. AC Milan is current in sixth place among 20 teams heading into the final weekend of its league play; Chelsea is 10th among 20 teams in the EPL.

The Vikings are scheduled to play their first exhibition game at the new stadium on August 28 against San Diego, a game scheduled for national television on FOX.

Ticket prices for the soccer game range from $40 to $175, plus fees for buying through Ticketmaster.

Other events announced for the stadium so far are concerts by Luke Bryan on August 19 and Metallica on August 20.
