That all worked out perfectly, didn't it? People shied away from Phoenix because he seemed to be losing his mind, and after the movie with the drugs and the hookers no one really cared if it was real or not, because it was just . . . ooky. And now they say it's all a joke. Surprise! Oh, we had you guys going! C'mon, admit it, you were fooled! Ha ha! What, you're not mad, are you?
You wonder if Hollywood is going to play its own little game now, and pretend to never hire him again.
