9 a.m. update: Still locked up on 94

We end the rush hour with bumper to bumper traffic on westbound I-94 from Franklin Avenue over to Portland Avenue. That is 15 to 18 minutes. Drivers heading into St. Paul will encounter congestion from Mounds Blvd. to 35E.

Things have yet to shake loose on westbound 494 from Hwy. 5 over to Hwy. 100. That is 20 minutes.

Motorists will need 15 to 18 minutes on northbound 35W from Crosstown to downtown Minneapolis. Plan on 15 to 17 minutes there.

Things are a bit better on the Crosstown in both directions from 28th Avenue to Hwy. 100. That will still cost you an extra 10 to 12 minutes.

I'll be back Friday with updates on your morning drive to work and look for what's ahead for the weekend on my blog. Lowry Hill Tunnel washing is in the near future.
