It was anything but a blue-ribbon drive for commuters on westbound 94. A crash around 7:40 a.m. at Cedar Avenue blocked the left lane for about 20 minutes and that led to a backup that extened back to Snelling Avenue.  Another wreck at the north end of the Lowry Hill Tunnel shortly after added to the problems.

Drive times from St. Paul to Minneapolis reached 25 minutes at the worst.

In Woodbury, a mishap on the ramp from westbound 94 to 694/494 in Woodbury had traffic crammed approaching that interchange.

Currently a wreck on 394 westbound at Dunwoody has traffic crawling from Riverside into downtown Minneapolis.

We have another snag on westbound 394 at Xenia Avenue.  A First Unit is on the scene of a stall in the right lane.

The Northstar Commuter line experienced a delay. The last inbound run departed Big Lake 15 minutes late. The northbound run from Minneapolis to Big Lake arrived late, which led to the tardy southbound departure.

Down in Faribault, drivers had to navigate around an jackknifed semi at Hwy. 60. Ahead, traffic flowed well most of the morning except for a few minutes when a wreck tied up traffic at Hwy. 13 around 7:40 a.m.

A heads up that Crosstown will close again this weekend at Hwy. 169. The closure will run from 10 p.m. Friday until 5 a.m. Monday.
