The ill-timed snow slowed the morning drive and we can expect the same on the ride home.

Meterologist Paul Douglas says the white stuff will fall most of the day and into the night.

MnDOT says it will have plows out all day, but remember, they can't be everywhere. So drive safe, slow down and turn the headlights on. In other words, drive for the conditions.

Many routes continue to see heavy volumes of traffic, and with that lengthy delays.

On westbound 94, it is a good hour from Hwy. 61 over to 35W in Minneapolis.

Westbound 494 is 45 minutes from Hwy. 110 over to Hwy. 169. A crash at Pilot Knob has cleared.

Look for a spinout on northbound Hwy. 169 at 63rd Avenue. Southbound traffic is inching along from 77th Avenue downto 394. That is about 25 minutes.

Westbound Hwy. 36 is 15 minutes from 35E to 35W.

Northbound 35W and northbound Cedar Avenue continue to struggle thorugh Apple Valley, Burnsville and Bloomington. Prepare for a slow roll.
