8 a.m. update: Current drive times

A new crash on westbound 494 at Pieper Road, that's west of Hwy. 110, has drivers jumping on the brakes. Plan on slow traffic from Hwy. 110. Better news ahead as a wreck at Pilot Knob Road has cleared out.

Look for a crash in the Crosstown Commons to impact westbound Crosstown traffic at Lyndale and southbound 35W from 60th Street to the split.

Traffic stacks up in downtown Minneapolis on eastbound 94. A crash at Hennepin/Groveland Avenue is on the right shoulder but the gawker effect is definitely in play.

Southbound Hwy. 169 is looking much better from I-94 to 394 now that a wreck at 49th Avenue has moved to the right shoulder.

Northbound 35W from County 42 to Crosstown: 14 minutes To downtown Minneapolis: 23 minutes.
