8 a.m. update: Current drive times

The latest in a string of crashes this morning comes on southbound Hwy. 100 at 50th Street in Edina. That's tangling traffic back as far as I-394.

Westbound 694 continues to struggle even through a crash at Hwy. 252 cleared about 20 minutes ago. It's creeping along from 35E.

Crashes on northbound Cedar Avenue at Diffley Road and eastbound Crosstown at Tracy Avenue have created nice messes. And a new crash on westbound 94 at Hwy. 61 is hampering the commute for east metro drivers.

Southbound 35W from 95th Avenue to downtown Minneapolis: 27 minutes

Southbound 35E from Main Street to I-94: 26 minutes.

Westbound 694 from 35E to Hwy. 252: 27 minutes. Eastbound is 12 minutes.

West metro

Eastbound 94 from Crow River to 494: 18 minutes

Southbound 494 from 94 down to 394: 13 minutes

Eastbound 394 from 494 to 35W via 94: 11 minutes

Southbound Hwy. 100 from I-94 to Crosstown: 18 minutes

South metro

Northbound 35W from County 42 to Crosstown: 13 minutes To downtown Minneapolis: 22 minutes.

Northbound Cedar Avenue from 35E to the Crosstown: 16 minutes

Northbound 35E from County 42 to downtown St. Paul: 22 minutes

Eastbound Hwy. 212 from Powers Blvd. to Crosstown: 20 minutes

Westbound 494 from Cedar Avenue to Hwy. 100: 13 minutes. Eastbound 494 from Hwy. 169 to 35W: 9 minutes
