8 a.m. update: Crash on Hwy. 100 cleared

After blocking the left lane for nearly an hour, the wreck on southbound Hwy. 100 at Benton Avenue is finally gone. It will take a while for traffic to get rolling again. The stackup is all the way back to France Avenue in Brooklyn Center.

After blocking the left lane for nearly an hour, the wreck on southbound Hwy. 100 at Benton Avenue is finally gone. It will take a while for traffic to get rolling again. The stackup is all the way back to France Avenue in Brooklyn Center.

Power has been restored in Brooklyn Park and Champlin, Xcel Energy said. Hopefully the traffic lights will get back in synch and help traffic flow on southbound Hwy. 169 from Hayden Lake Road down to 109th. Things sitll locked up there.

Northbound 35W inches along from Crosstown to downtown Minneapolis. Look for an accident at 26th Street on the right shoulder.

Northbound Cedar Avenue is struggling. A rollover at County 11 and a wreck at Killebrew Drive is making for a 20 minute drive from McAndrews to Crosstown.
