8:30 a.m. update: Major delays persist on I-35 in far south metro

One of two crashes on northbound I-35 have cleared, but the bottleneck that developed has not. Lanes are open at County Road 50 in Lakeville, but the left lane remains blocked at County Road 60.

One of two crashes on northbound I-35 have cleared, but the bottleneck that developed has not. Lanes are open at County Road 50 in Lakeville, but the left lane remains blocked at County Road 60.

The resulting backup kicks in well south of 210th Street, and that is making for a 30-minute drive from County Road 2 at Elko New Market up to the 35E/35W split.
