8:30 a.m. update: Current travel times

Traffic is thinning out in many areas in the suburban areas, but closer to the downtowns you'll find pockets of slow and go traffic.

One exception is on westbound 494 at Pilot Knob Road. A crash on the left shoulder is causing minor delays. Ahead, things flow much better from Cedar Avenue to Hwy. 100, a 10-minute trip.

A couple of other slow spots include Hwy. 610 from Hwy. 10 to Hwy. 252 and southbound 494 from Bass Lake Road to Hwy. 55.

North metro

Southbound 35W from 95th Avenue to Hwy. 280: 13 minutes

Southbound 35E from County 96 to I-94: 15 minutes.

West metro

Eastbound 94 from Hwy. 101 to 494: 23 minutes

Southbound 494 from 94 down to 394: 15minutes

Eastbound 394 to 35W via 94: 11 minutes

Southbound Hwy. 169 from I-94 to Crosstown: 25 minutes

Northbound 35W from County 42 to the Crosstown: 14 minutes.

Northbound Cedar Avenue from 35E to the Crosstown: 9 minutes

Northbound 35E from County 42 to downtown St. Paul: 23 minutes

Northbound 169 from County 18 to 494: 9 minutes

Eastbound Hwy. 212 from Dell Road to Crosstown: 9 minutes

Westbound Crosstown from Cedar Avenue to Hwy. 169: 11 minutes Eastbound Crosstown from Hwy. 100 to Cedar Avenue: 8 minutes

East metro

Westbound 94 from Keats Avenue to downtown St. Paul: 10 minutes

Westbound 94 from 35E to the Lowry Hill Tunnel: 13 minutes.
