Green Line trains were halted for about 10 to 15 minutes when power went out on part of the line from Raymond Avenue to downtown Minneapolis. The outage happened during the 7 a.m. hour.
Trains were running along the rest of the line, but the outage did cause trains to run late.
Power has been restored and trains are getting back on schedule, a Met Council spokesman said.
Work on a substation in the area of the outage will continue today.
