8:15 a.m. update: Slow going on 169 in Shakopee

The car fire at Hwy. 101 is gone, but there's the hangover effect on northbound Hwy. 169. All lanes are open, but traffic is creeping along from Canterbury Road to 101. Things pick up one you reach Pioneer Trail.

The car fire at Hwy. 101 is gone, but there's the hangover effect on northbound Hwy. 169. All lanes are open, but traffic is creeping along from Canterbury Road to 101. Things pick up one you reach Pioneer Trail.

Southbound 35W continues to struggle from County Road 10 to Hwy. 280. No crashes or incidents there, but just heavy traffic is leading to a 25-minute drive.

A traffic stop on the right shoulder on northbound 35W is having a minimal effect on traffic heading into Minneapolis.

Look for an accident on the exit from eastbound 94 to Snelling Avenue.

A stalled vehicle is blocking the right shoulder of southbound 35E at Randolph Avenue in St. Paul.

One other slow spot of note is southbound Hwy. 169 from Medicine Lake Road to 394. That's about 5 minutes.
