A brief flurry of crashes that included a couple on eastbound I-94 in downtown Minneapolis and one on southbound 35E at Maryland Avenue in St. Paul have cleared out and traffic is recovering nicely.
We still have some slowness in downtown Minneapolis on 94 between the Tunnel and Hiawatha Avenue in both directions, but it's better than it was. Be ready to hit the brakes on northbound 35W from Lake Street to downtown Minneapolis.
On southbound 169 and 494 in the west metro, we've got pockets of congestion and slow traffic between Bass Lake Road and 394. Things loosen on both routes south of Hwy. 7.
