8:05 a.m. update: Ramp jam on 694 at 94

Traffic is heavy on southbound 94 due to a crash at 57th Avenue. That's causing a backup on the ramp from westbound 694 to southbound 94. Consequently, things are slow on 694 from 35W to Hwy. 252. That is now running at about 20 minutes.

Traffic is heavy on southbound 94 due to a crash at 57th Avenue. That's causing a backup on the ramp from westbound 694 to southbound 94. Consequently, things are slow on 694 from 35W to Hwy. 252. That is now running at about 20 minutes.

This just in: A crash in the backup on westbound 694 at Central Avenue.

Crews are still working an injury crash on southbound 494 at Bass Lake Road. The freeway is down to a single lane. That is resulting in lengthy delays coming down from 94.

Look for a Highway Helper employee picking up junk off the road on southbound Hwy. 280 at Roselawn Avenue.
