7 a.m. update: Current drive times

We have no crashes on the mainline system at this hour, but traffic levels have picked up. Look for tight conditions on southbound 35E from Hwy. 36 down to the Cayuga Bridge.

It's very snug on eastbound 94 from 101st Avenue into the Fish Lake Interchange. And things stay that way for those heading south from the Fish Lake Split on 494. Things finally loosen about 49th Avenue.

Speeds are below the posted, but traffic is moving on northbound Hwy. 169 over the Minnesota River Bridge and on I-35W from County 42 up to 98th Street.

Southbound 35E from County 96 to I-94: 17 minutes.

Westbound 694 from 35E to Hwy. 252: 10 minutes. Eastbound is 10 minutes.

Eastbound 94 from Hwy. 101 to 494: 15 minutes

Southbound 494 from 94 down to 394: 10 minutes

Eastbound 394 from 494 to 35W via 94: 9 minutes

Southbound Hwy. 100 from I-94 to Crosstown: 17 minutes

South metro

Northbound 35W from County 42 to Crosstown: 13 minutes To downtown Minneapolis: 19 minutes.

Northbound Cedar Avenue from 35E to the Crosstown: 9 minutes

Northbound 35E from County 42 to downtown St. Paul: 18 minutes

Eastbound Hwy. 212 from Dell Road to Crosstown: 4 minutes
