7:55 a.m. update: Tree finally removed from 94

MnDOT crews have successfully removed a tree that fell onto westbound 94 at Franklin Avenue. All lanes are now open, but expect it to take a while for traffic to recover. It's still 30 minutes from downtown St. Paul to downtown Minneapolis.

MnDOT crews have successfully removed a tree that fell onto westbound 94 at Franklin Avenue. All lanes are now open, but expect it to take a while for traffic to recover. It's still 30 minutes from downtown St. Paul to downtown Minneapolis.

Look for a new wreck on the right shoulder of northbound 35W at Cliff Road. Traffic bunches up at Burnsville Pkwy.
