A new wreck on the system has traffic on southbound I-35W at a near stop from Lake Drive past the incident on the right shoulder at County Road H.
The bigger mess is in downtown Minneapolis. A crash taking out the left lane on westbound 94 at LaSalle Avenue has traffic jammed from the Mississippi River over to the Lowry Hill Tunnel.
Northbound 35W is also plugged up from 46th Street up to downtown as cars looking to exit onto west 94 are lined up back to Lake Street. Add to it is a crash at 31st Street.
