7:35 a.m. update: Jamming up on 494 in Newport

At least four vehicles are involved in a wreck on westbound 494 at Hwy. 61 in Newport. The activity is off to the right shoulder, but traffic crawls past the scene. Look for brake lights starting at Concord Street.

At least four vehicles are involved in a wreck on westbound 494 at Hwy. 61 in Newport. The activity is off to the right shoulder, but traffic crawls past the scene. Look for brake lights starting at Concord Street.

In downtown Minneapolis, a wreck on westbound 94 just prior to the Lowry Hill Tunnel has just cleared, but delays begin as far back as Cedar Avenue.

Look for a mishap on westbound Hwy. 610 at Hwy. 169 in Brooklyn Park. It's on the right shoulder and creating only minor traffic problems.

Southbound 35E continues to be a hot spot. A pair of stalls and wrecks at Hwy. 36 and Roselawn Avenue has traffic crawling from 694 to downtown St. Paul.
