It took a while, but commuters are feeling the effects of the malfunctioning gates to the I-394 HOT lanes at the Hwy. 100 entrance. The gates are stuck in the down position.

Traffic is backed up to General Mills Blvd. and things are heavy all the way to downtown St. Paul.

In the east metro, a rollover at the St. Croix Rest Area has cleared and all lanes of westbound 94 are open. The crash created a backup across the Hudson Bridge so it will take a while for things to totally recover.

There is word that stalled vehicle is blocking a lane on westbound 494 at Pilot Knob Road in Eagan. Also look traffic to cram up on eastbound 94 due to a crash near Hennepin Avenue.
