The snow has made its way into the western and southern metro. It also led to the morning's first crash, on Diffley Road at I-35E in Eagan.
So far, the commute has been an easy one, but with snow falling along Hwys. 212, 5, 55 and 7 in the west metro and along 35W, 35E and Cedar Avenue in the south, look for rapidly changing conditions. That goes for the rest of the metro too, so bring out your winter driving skills.
For now, traffic is still moving well across the metro.
Here are some current travel times:
North metro
Southbound 35W from 95th Avenue to downtown Minneapolis: 15 minutes
Southbound 35E from County 96 to I-94: 10 minutes.
Eastbound Hwy. 10 from Hwy. 169 to 35W: 12 minutes
