7:30 a.m. update: Current drive times

The commute on northbound I-35W is a grind for sure with nearly 30 minutes needed from County Road 42 in Burnsville to downtown Minneapolis. Crashes at 46th Street and on the exits to downtown Minneapolis at Franklin Avenue has traffic inching along from 66th Street to I-94.

Other trouble spots include a stall on northbound Hwy. 61 in Newport at 494, and on westbound 494 between the Wakota Bridge and Dodd Road. Look for a crash on the right shoulder near Pieper Road.
