7:20 a.m. update: Looking great on I-35W in north metro

It's not often I can say that drivers on southbound 35W in the northern suburbs won't see any congestion. Today is one of those days.

It's not often I can say that drivers on southbound 35W in the northern suburbs won't see any congestion. Today is one of those days.

The trip from 95th Avenue to Hwy. 280 is a mere 9 minutes.

Even westbound 494 is looking good with lighter than normal levels of traffic.

For congestion, head to westbound 94 from Mounds Blvd. over to 7th Street in St. Paul. That will set you back only a couple of minutes.

Expect a minor slow down on southbound 35E from Hwy. 36 to 94. Compared to most days, this is nothing to worry about. It's 6 minues from Hwy. 36 to 94.
