A trio of crashes has traffic on south and west metro roads jamming quickly.

The newest is on eastbound 494 at East Bush Lake Road in the left lane. That's got commuters crawling along from Flying Cloud Drive over to Hwy. 100. Rubbernecking has westbound losing speed from Hwy. 100 to Hwy. 169.

The worst tangle is on northbound Hwy. 100. A stall in the left lane at Excelsior Blvd. and a crash ahead at Minnetonka Blvd. has traffic at a near stop at 50th Street. Lots of extra time will be needed.

And this just in: A wreck on northbound Hwy. 169 at Anderson Lake Pkwy. has traffic crammed back to the Bloomington Ferry Bridge.
