Commuters will find roads in good shape this morning with just minor congestion on a few routes.
Traffic is heavy on southbound 35W from 95th Avenue to 694. Plan on 20 minutes to reach Hwy. 280.
Look for stop and go conditions on southbound 35E from Hwy. 36 down to I-94. That will take 8 minutes.
Crosstown is seeing building levels in both directions between Hwy. 100 and 35W. That will only cost you a couple minutes.
Sun up slow downs on eastbound 394 but nothing major there.
Metro Transit Route 5 is on detour on Chicago Avenue between 24th and 26th Streets in south Minneapolis due to a fire at the Chicago Avenue Deli and Food.
Drivers should use Park Avenue for an alternate.
