7:15 a.m. update: Crowded on I-94 in northwest metro

No crashes, but lots of traffic has the drive on eastbound I-94 from Hwy. 101 to the Fish Lake Split well below the posted speeds. Plan on 18 minutes from Rogers to the 694/494 split.

No crashes, but lots of traffic has the drive on eastbound I-94 from Hwy. 101 to the Fish Lake Split well below the posted speeds. Plan on 18 minutes from Rogers to the 694/494 split.

In East Bethel, some delays are developing on Hwy. 65 at Viking Blvd. A vehicle hit a traffic light pole and landed in the center median.

Westbound 94 slows from Johnson Pkwy. to downtown St. Paul, making for a 12 minute drive from 694 to 35E.

Northbound 35W in Minneapolis continues to creep along. A crash at Franklin Avenue cleared a few minutes ago and all lanes are back open, but the vile flow from Crosstown to downtown is making for a 14-minute trip.
