7:15 a.m. update: A vile flow on Cedar Avenue

Northbound Cedar Avenue is extremely heavy and slow from County Road 38 up to 494. That trip is up to 23 minutes despite not having any accidents or incidents. A few drivers might be using Cedar to avoid the tie up on I-35W.

Northbound Cedar Avenue is extremely heavy and slow from County Road 38 up to 494. That trip is up to 23 minutes despite not having any accidents or incidents. A few drivers might be using Cedar to avoid the tie up on I-35W.

Over on 35W, a fiery crash taking out two southbound lanes at 102nd Street is leading to gawking by northbound drivers. Northbound is stop and go from County Road 42 up to 98th Street. That is making it a 30-minute trip into downtown Minneapolis.
