7:05 a.m. update: Five-car crash adds to gridlock on 35W in north metro

The crash is obscured by the sign, but five cars are involved in a mishap on northbound 35W just past I-694. With the ramp to eastbound 694 closed due to the police investigation into crash and police-related shooting that has a suspect dead, traffic has stacked up back to County Road E2.
