7:05 a.m. update: A decent drive on 694

The dire predictions of gridlock on 694 have not come to pass, at least not yet. You will find some slowdowns in both directions, but no major backups between East River Road and Hwy. 252.

The dire predictions of gridlock on 694 have not come to pass, at least not yet. You will find some slowdowns in both directions, but no major backups between East River Road and Hwy. 252.

Westbound Hwy. 610 is seeing a bit more traffic than usual, so maybe 694 drivers are finding alternate routes. Stay tuned as this is subject to change without notice.

Elsewhere, look for a nice trip on southbound Hwy. 169. It's only 16 minutes from I-94 to the Crosstown.

Other travel times:

Southbound 35E from Main Street to Hwy. 36: 15 minutes

Westbound Hwy. 36 from 35E to Hwy. 280: 11 minutes

Eastbound 394 from 494 to 94: 10 minutes.

Westbound 494 from Cedar Avenue to Hwy. 100: 13 minutes

Crosstown in each direction from Hwy. 169 to 35W: 11 minutes
