The roads on the west side of the metro and further to the west are in the worst shape this morning. As the temperature continues to drop, look for roads to ice up and slippery spots to develop.

Already this morning we have had a semi jackknife on the ramp from southbound Hwy. 169 to Bass Lake Road in New Hope.

In Minnetonka we have a pair of spin outs. One is northbound 494 at Hwy. 7 blocking the left lane while the other is on eastbound 394 just past Hwy. 169.

Out in Norwood Young America, a number of cars slid into the ditch on Hwy. 5 at Rome Avenue.
