6 a.m. update: Current travel times

The rush hour is starting to wake up as the first wave of commuters head into work. That has brought a tad of crowding on northbound 494 in Plymouth from I-394 up to Hwy. 55. The left lane is still blocked as overnight road work continues. That should be out of the way by 7.

So far so good on eastbound 94 at Snelling Avenue where the freeway is reduced to two lanes until Thursday.

Two crashes on the system at this hour is not impacting traffic. You'll them on northbound 35W at the I-694 interchange on the right shoulder and on southbound Hwy. 169 at 77th Avenue in Brooklyn Park.

Southbound 494 from 94 down to 394: 6 minutes

Eastbound 394 from 494 to 35W via 94: 9 minutes

Southbound Hwy. 100 from I-94 to Crosstown: 12 minutes

Northbound 35W from County 42 to Crosstown: 9 minutes To downtown Minneapolis: 15 minutes.

Northbound Cedar Avenue from 35E to the Crosstown: 10 minutes

Northbound 35E from County 42 to downtown St. Paul: 18 minutes

Eastbound Hwy. 212 from Dell Road to Crosstown: 11 minutes

Westbound 494 from Cedar Avenue to Hwy. 100: 6 minutes. Eastbound 494 from Hwy. 169 to 35W: 5 minutes
