University Avenue is shut down at Malcolm Street in southeast Minneapolis as responders take care of a crash involving a pedestrian and a vehicle that had caught fire. The fire is out.

University Avenue is shut down at Malcolm Street in southeast Minneapolis as responders take care of a crash involving a pedestrian and a vehicle that had caught fire. The fire is out.

Word is a city bus might also have been involved.

Tim Harlow covers traffic and transportation issues in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area, and likes to get out of the office, even during rush hour. He also covers the suburbs in northern Hennepin and all of Anoka counties, plus breaking news and weather.
