6:40 a.m. update: Current travel times

The State Patrol is on the way to a new crash on southbound 35E just south of the 35E/W split up in the Forest Lake area. That's where a motorist struck a deer. Traffic stacks up approaching the scene and remains tight past 80th Street.

In the south metro, traffic is heavy on northbound I-35 from County Road 2 up to County Road 50 due to road work. Plan on 15 minutes to get through the work zone.

Southbound 35W from 95th Avenue to Hwy. 280: 15 minutes

Southbound 35E from County 96 to I-94: 10 minutes.

Eastbound Hwy. 10 from Hwy. 169 to 35W: 13 minutes

Eastbound 94 from Hwy. 101 to 494: 9 minutes

Southbound 494 from 94 down to 394: 8 minutes

Eastbound 394 to 35W via 94: 9 minutes

Southbound Hwy. 169 from I-94 to Crosstown: 13 minutes

South metro

Northbound Cedar Avenue from 35E to the Crosstown: 9 minutes

Northbound 35E from County 42 to downtown St. Paul: 18 minutes

Northbound 169 from County 18 to 494: 5 minutes

Eastbound Hwy. 212 from Dell Road to Crosstown: 11 minutes

Westbound 494 from Cedar Avenue to Hwy. 100: 6 minutes. Eastbound 494 from Hwy. 169 to 35W: 7 minutes

Westbound 94 from Keats Avenue to downtown St. Paul: 11 minutes

Westbound 94 from 35E to the Lowry Hill Tunnel: 9 minutes.
