Scatter chatter is reporting at least three separate rollovers on I-35 between North Branch/Hwy. 95 and the Forest Lake area. Authorities are saying there is slush on top of ice and speeds are at 10 miles per hour.
The bridge on Hwy. 8 over Hwy. 61 is being closed due to the treacherous conditions. Traffic will be rerouted using the off and on ramps. The bridge itself is too dangerous for traffic.
South of about Hwy. 97, commuters seem to be in the clear. Roads dry out and traffic beings to move at near the posted speeds.
Elsewhere, we have no problems on metro area mainline roads.
