Commuters on southbound 35E will be riding the brakes from Roselawn Avenue to downtown St. Paul. A crash at Pennsylvania Avenue is the main reason for the tie-up.

We have a few problem areas on the system as the wet roads begin to freeze over.

Westbound 494 from Pilot Knob Road to Cedar Avenue has seen four accidents or spin outs this morning. The latest is westbound at Hwy. 5.

Northbound Hwy. 169 has spin outs at Fuller Street and crashes at Hwy. 101 and Old Shakopee Road. Plan on a slippery and slow ride into Bloomington.

Southbound Hwy. 100 is not much better. Look for wrecks at 57th Avenue, Cedar Lake Road and Excelsior Blvd.
