6:15 a.m. update: Car fire shuts down lanes on University Avenue

A fully engulfed car fire has the southbound lanes of University Avenue between Osborne Road and 73rd Avenue closed.

A fully engulfed car fire has the southbound lanes of University Avenue between Osborne Road and 73rd Avenue in Fridley closed. No word if the driver got out okay, but there has not been any calls for an ambulance.
