6:15 a.m. update: Back to two lanes on 694, zero on northbound Hwy. 169

Road work on eastbound 694 has expanded over to Long Lake Road, so be ready for a longer ride through the work zone. The good news is that crews have picked up the last of cones and East River Road to University Avenue is back to two lanes.

Road work on eastbound 694 has expanded over to Long Lake Road, so be ready for a longer ride through the work zone. The good news is that crews have picked up the last of cones and East River Road to University Avenue is back to two lanes.

On northbound Hwy. 169, that weekend road work from Hwy. 55 to I-94 continues. Crews ran into difficulties that will leave that part of the highway closed until early afternoon.

Look for a crash on the right shoulder on northbound I-35W at 494 in Bloomington.
