We have more trouble for commuters in the west metro. A vehicle spun out on the Hwy. 7 overpass over I-494 in Minnetonka in the eastbound lanes. There also is a spin out on northbound 494 in the area.

Up on New Hope, the ramp from southbound 169 to east Bass Lake Road is partially blocked with a spin out.

Look for a spin out on eastbound 394 at Hwy. 169 in Plymouth.

The toughest drive, however, seems to be just west of the metro. Hwy. 5 at Rome Avenue in Norwood Young America is icy with several cars reported to have gone in the ditch.

And in Jordan at Hwy. 21, roads are reported to be glare ice with a few vehicles off the road.
