MnDOT is scheduled to begin a bridge repair project on the Penn Avenue bridge over the Crosstown.
The project starting Wednesday will last about three months. The ramps from Penn Avenue to westbound Crosstown will close.
During the closure, motorists will be detoured to Xerxes Avenue, 66th Street and 50th Street. The bridge and ramps will re-open in late October.
