The single lane construction on I-35 from County 70 to County 50 in Lakeville is producing a big traffic jam. It's solid nose to nose traffic through there and a 16-minute ride from Elko to the Burnsville Split.
Ahead, it is a nice drive with only 16 minutes needed to downtown Minneapolis and 18 to downtown St. Paul.
Look out for the motorist who hit a deer on northbound 35E at County 11 in Apple Valley.
We've also got some junk in the right and center lane on westbound Hwy. 12 at the 494/394 intersection.
Those are the only snags on the system at present.
