The State Patrol is on the way to deal with a fresh fender bender on westbound I-94 in the vicinity of Park Avenue in downtown Minneapolis.

Motorists in the metro may have the most difficulty getting around this weekend as portions of two freeways will be shut down Friday night through Monday morning.
Transportation Security Administration screeners confiscated 73 guns from carry -on luggage at the nation's airports last week, the most ever. That beat the previous record of 68 collected in a single week in October of 2015.
Traffic will begin flowing again on Audubon Road in front of Paisley Park in Chanhassen. By 6 a.m., the Carver County Sheriff's Office will allow vehicles to use Audubon Road between Hwy. 5 and Coulter Blvd.
Like the trees, road construction will be leafing out all across the metro area this weekend. Motorists will find cones and closures on freeways, highways and secondary streets, including portions of I-494 and Hwy. 100 in the west metro and I-94 and Hwy. 5 in the east metro.
Travelers have been able to take Uber to the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport. Now they can take it home.
