A 5-year-old boy drowned Saturday in Crystal Lake in Grand Rapids, Minn.
Police said the boy, whose name was not immediately released, went underwater about 1:30 p.m. while trying to get onto a swim raft.
Officers and first responders dove in and pulled the boy out, but he died later at a hospital, police said.
