Always a busy spot, snow is compounding the drive on southbound 35W in the northern suburbs. Traffic is just crawling along from 95th Avenue down to 694.
We have a number of spinouts and crashes on the roads. A few of them are:
Westbound 694 at Century Avenue.
Northbound Hwy. 169 at Minnetonka Blvd.
On West Broadway in the vicinity of 89th Avenue in Brooklyn Park.
Southbound 35W near 37th Street.
We hear Metro Transit buses are running 89 percent on time. The average delay is about 2 minutes. Routes 61 (Arlington Hill), 63K (Londin Lane) and 71 (Hawthorne Hill) are on detour.
