A frightening page just came over the scanner. Somebody was throwing fireworks into traffic on southbound 35E in the vicinity of Maryland Avenue in St. Paul.

A frightening page just came over the scanner. Somebody was throwing fireworks into traffic on southbound 35E in the vicinity of Maryland Avenue in St. Paul.

Less drama in other parts of the metro. Traffic levels are light and moving at near the posted speeds on most routes.

Overnight road work is wrapping up on 494 in Bloomington and on Hwy. 169 through Shakopee and Bloomington.
