This was the scene about 20 minutes ago on the westbound I-494 overpass at Hwy. 100. Crews have successfully put out the car fire and a tow truck has towed the badly burned vehicle away.
MnDOT says the right lane of westbound I-494 approaching Hwy. 100 is still blocked and will be for the next few minutes as crews continues clean up. The ramp from northbound Normandale Blvd. to westbound 494 is also closed.
